Summary: Responsible for the supervision of Resort Associates. The Front End Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of the front end associates ensuring our clients receive superior customer service. Additionally, the Front End Supervisor may assist with the daily care of guests including, but not limited to: feeding, cleaning, exercising, and bathing.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Provide direct supervison of the Front End Associates including supervising, training and coaching Associates based on company standards, policies, and guidelines.
2. Follow the check in/check out procedures for all guests visiting the resort for any service provided by the resort.
3. Answer all incoming phone calls.
4. Report and document (when applicable) to the Resort Manager and/or Resort Assistant Manager any potential hazards or behavioral problems involving guests or employees.*
5. Emptying trash cans, mopping floors, cleaning of rest rooms, common areas, and employee break room.
6. Make and confirm reservations.
7. Utilize the applicable software systems

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
A general understanding of Microsoft Office and Windows XP is preferred, but not required.
Certificates and Licenses:
ABKA Level 1 certification within 180 days
Valid driver's license
Professional appearance in compliance with dress code
Confident and energetic personality
Strong organizational, cash management, and sales skills
Strong ability to prioritize and multi-task; work with minimal supervision
Reliable and flexible to Resort needs
Able to handle a variety of animals safely and comfortably
Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of Resort Associates. Directly supervises 10-20 non-supervisory employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

The Resort Supervisor may be exposed to animals that are agitated and/or injured. Animals may scratch and/or bite.
